A year in the life of a GSD puppy

This is Chisholm, a puppy from Johan & Sonya's first litter. He has a "standard" coat and a "blanket" (as opposed to a "saddle"). He grew a little bigger than illustrated at one year as the German line dogs actually grow until they are 2 1/2 years of age, although slower after after 1 year. Although he is black and tan and silver, he would be described on the AKC registration forms as "black & tan". (So would Malcolm, who is tan with a black saddle, a much lighter-colored dog.)
